Learn a little more about Sheriff Dave Galloway...
Dave Galloway has more than 40 years of law enforcement experience including 34 1/2 years with the Brownsburg Police Department. A retired Army commissioned Chief Warrant Officer with more than 21 years of service, Dave has developed proficiency with firearms during his law enforcement and military careers. A highly decorated veteran, Dave has served his country during the Viet Nam War, in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War (Desert Storm) and in Germany during the Bosnia Conflict.
Dave has always strived to put forth a positive, professional image for the Sheriff's Department and law enforcement in general. Along with earning a BS degree in Criminal Justice from IUPUI, Dave is also a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, the Indiana Police Chief Executive Course and the National Sheriff's Institute. He is the First Vice President of the Indiana Sheriff's Association and is very active in his community as an active member of several specific fraternal, civic and sports organizations.
Dave has truly enjoyed his first term as Sheriff and serving the citizens of Hendricks County in an honorable and professional manner. He is asking for your support in re-election in order to work toward keeping Hendricks County safe!

Dave was employed as a Deputy Sheriff for Boone County from 1970 - 1971. He was employed by the Brownsburg Police Department from 1971 - 2006. Dave was appointed Brownsburg's Chief of Police in 1999 and retired from that position in 2006. Dave and his family attend Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg. He is married to Jeane and has 5 sons and 10 grandchildren.
